njwrestler07 Posted October 8, 2010 Share Posted October 8, 2010 I was thinking of buying a LGT or the Legacy 3.0R, the problem with the 3.0R is the auto transmission, if i wanted to swap to a manual 6-speed trans, what would something like that cost? Max Capacity Posted October 8, 2010 Share Posted October 8, 2010 X2 the 2.5 turbo has much more potential and there are all kinds of aftermarket support for it. The 3.0 is something your mom would drive. To swap a manual onto a 3.0 could cost 5 or 6 grand by the time it's all done, if it could be. It's not something that's commonly done. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
