theflystyle
If we go Sunday, I can go A LOT earlier. I can be down there at around 9:00 am. But on Saturday, I have plenty of errands to run in the morning plus the gym. looks like the majority are wanting sat.. we could knock it out early and leave you time for the rest of the day. just a thought. HarryN
Well I will be done at the gym by 2:00 pm. By the time I shower and head down there, it will be around 3:00 - 3:30 pm. The DIY garage closes at 9:00. We'll have a healthy 5.5 to 6 hours to play down there, if we do this on Saturday. So people are down with this, then hell yeah! Let's do this!! Shawn06SpecB
I'd be down for either day, its only ~20 miles from my house. Also, I just called them today and it seems they have some nice tire prices plus 18.95 each to mount/balance!

Sure it is cheap, but doing yourself is cheaper and more rewarding.
Shawn06SpecB
I would if they let us use their equipment but being my first time I wouldn't want to screw up my wheels. I didn't ask if this was a DIY option. Has anyone here done it before?
theflystyle
This may not be helpful but either day works. I would prefer Saturday if that makes any difference.
05 Outback 2.5i
If only they had an alignment rack, I'd offer to do alignments for people. They may have an alignment rack. HarryN
I need my brakes done. What time on Saturday and Sunday? 4:00? Sounds a bit late to start installs. That is the best time I can make it on Saturday, with all my errands. Sunday I can be there all day to help out. What kind of brake job are you doing? A full service (rotors, calipers, pads, fluid) or wear and tear maintenance (pads)?
06Limited
What kind of brake job are you doing? A full service (rotors, calipers, pads, fluid) or wear and tear maintenance (pads)? We should be able to bust out a regular brake job (pads/ rotors) in ~1 hour or less. Add ~30-45 minutes for bleeding the brakes, and we will be easily be done by the 9:00pm closing time. Here's hoping stainless lines aren't involved, as the Legacy's lines can be a pain.

I need all 4 pads and rotors replaced. I might just have to go Sunday. 4:00 on Sat is just too late for me, heading down to JMU around 3 or 4pm. When I return sunday I probably will head right over to the shop and just start. HarryN, go ahead and put me down for Sunday.

HarryN
Alrighty. Reason why I want to know times and days is because I am calling these guys up tomorrow and possibly see if we can hold a mini-meet there, provided enough lifts are available. BTW, anyone who is interested in coming to the DIY garage, Send me a PM and I will give you my Cell number. That way you can call me and let me if you are on your way, lost, or if I am still there. Here's to hoping we all have a great weekend!!
