Intercooler piping is done. BOV is mounted. It drives in limp mode with an air filter shoved on the turbo just fine.

My old rotated GT28rs would make about 2-3psi under launch control. The new setup makes 6-7psi. That doesn't really mean much as to what the performance of this setup will be, but it makes me smile. I've driven it around the block a few times. Completely untuned and running in limp mode, power delivery is extremely smooth and based off a glance at my boost gauge, I'm seeing 16psi well before 4000rpm. Exhaust tone is not subaru anymore, it really sounds like an evo, complete with little pops and tings. Exhaust sound level is where I want it and noise level doesn't go up when the wastegate opens.

So far it looks very promising. I have to make the turbo inlet yet and depending on what I figure out with that, i'll either be using the stock ECU and MAF and have this thing driving around in a week or two, or I'm gonna have to put a standalone ECU in and another month or two of work awaits.

Can't wait to get it on the streets again.

So how the hell did STS find out about this and why would they care? This is your project for your own personal car. You are selling anything or impinging on their market. As for STS, they are cool. I've been toying around with getting one for my Wrangler but worried about sucking water in thru a low-mounted intake during water crossings and/or banging the turbo on a rock during hard wheeling. Sorry, I digress.

So I was thinking about this. It looks awesome, I love the low mount twin scroll setup... But I was thinking there may be a flaw. Many Subaru owners rallyx wouldn't you beat the mess out of your turbo? Possibly soak it in water??

I don't know really I'm just wondering that 2010 setup looks amazing and I want it but I'm trying to talk myself out of it.

It sounded like all it was is he called them, and they got pissed, and everyone hung up and went on with their lives.

Neither have I... Started with a backahce in the morning which turned into my entire left arm being numb and extremely painful. After a few weeks it moved to just my hand. Then a few weeks after that both feet went numb. Last 2-3 weeks feet were fine and hand worked well enough to do the finish work on the outback. The yesterday my feet started going numb again. My hand is still a mess as well.

It pretty much just sucks

I suggest a chiropractor first, then orthopedist if the chiropractic sessions don't help. It sounds like you might have some pressure on some nerves running down your back.

I suggest going to a REAL doctor first.

I know some folks who have extraordinarily rare diseases that aren't really diagnosable by 99% of doctors, so going back may truly be a waste of time unless you find the right specialist. Whatever it is, there is more than one way to solve a problem. Just saying.

Here's my legacygt.com Dr advice from someone who has had a laminotomy/discectomy from a ruptured disk. When I blew out my disk I had zero pain in my back, it was all in my right leg. I thought at first that I had just pulled a muscle. After a while, it went away and came back so I went to see a physician who told me the nerve was being pinched by my wallet when I sit down (completely wrong diagnosis). It wasn't until my 3rd visit 6 months later, when the pain was unbearable and I lost all reflexes in my right leg, that they referred me to an orthopedic spine Dr.

If you haven't already, go see a spinal specialist (orthopedic or neurosurgeon). Stay far, far away from chiropracters, and generic physicians for that matter. I have been in to see my ortho a couple times prior to my procedure for pain in my back. He tells me if you only feel the pain in your back you're ok (i.e. it's a strain). But if you feel it in your arms/legs it's bad. Not trying to scare you, but the whole process was enlightening for me, I will never trust the diagnosis from a family physician again.

Hey now, you armchair guys are getting out of hand now!

If you're in Colorado, I know somebody you ought to consult with, ASAP! Saved me after 9 other docs missed why I had lost the use of my left leg, zero back pain, and a micro-discectomy at L5/S1 to clean out a severely ruptured, fragmented disc.

Even after surgery, my left leg was useless! Then I got some help.

I've sent you a PM.

mwiener2, how old are you? How's your posture? Sleeping style? Number of hours sitting a day?

I had some of the similiar problems and it was because of terrible posture while sitting and sleeping, along with doing a lot of mountain biking where you are hunched over. I had tight hip flexors to the extent that they were causing me abdominal pain and wrenching my back, making feet and hands tingle.

Definitely get it checked out, but it could be something easy like that as well.

Needs an MRI interpreted by a neurosurgeon or ortho-surg. Whether its arms, or legs, the severity is the same. Its most likely a pinched nerve... maybe spinal stenosis, bulging disc, ruptured disc. I'm a fellow "lami" as well, the best thing to do is to get that MRI now. Every now and then I sleep "wrong" and pinch a nerve in my upper spine and get the passing numbness in an arm for a little while. But be it arms or legs, doesn't make it better or worse...... its the same process at work.

Then they aren't going to good enough doctors.

When it comes to your health, it's worth the time and money to go to the people who are the best in their field. Maybe I'm spoiled.

As for Chiropractors, last I checked Hopkins didn't offer an MD in chiropracty. Just sayin'.
