rvnmaniac Posted August 20, 2017 Share Posted August 20, 2017 Sprayed a ton of PB Blaster. Actuated the hood release cable from inside the car about 50 times. Played with the hood bumps. MilesA Posted August 28, 2017 Share Posted August 28, 2017 You may need to take the hood latch off and see what's wrong with it. It's a pretty simple mechanism. Yours could be dirty and sticking, or maybe the latch part is worn and can be adjusted with some basic hand tools. If worse comes to worse, you could get another hood latch from a scrapyard.
