Dave1222
Both were with very moderate launches. Does this sound right for a real world 0-60? Only mod is the AP... I just always thought the LGT would be faster than this if stock its in the mid 5 second range. I guess a more aggressive launch would net a better time? legacylegend11
Yes it will. At or MT?
TPLGT
No way this is an MT...5.3 secs stock MT. Rehab is for quitters.
legacylegend11
Well with a very unagressive launch it can be that slow. Launch it at about 4000 rpm and it'll get that 5.
Dave1222
The car is a 2007 GT/Manual and it was a fairly unaggresive launch...literally just took off like I was normally driving just kept it floored for a little longer than usual. Can I really shave almost a second off by beating on it? Honestly, the main reason why I wanted to see your thoughts on the 0-60 is because often times the car just doesnt seem that quick. Despite the AP, I still seem to have some stuttering and some days the car feels fast and some days it doesnt. I can say this, after driving a 2010 wrx recently, that car definitely feels much faster than my stage 1 GT.
frank_ster
throw a brick of dry ice on the intercooler that will wake it up Now that's thinking out of the boxer! fyi all 05 + legacy's have built in code reader
legacylegend11
By "beating" on it your spooling the turbo therefore no turbo lag which will shave off that second. As for the 2010 wrx, I beat one before I went stage 2 so I'm assuming its got a more aggressive throttle. I know when I went stage 1 it did seem slower than stock but I was told it had something to do with the way the tune controls the throttle and when I tested the difference the numbers showed that it was faster than stock. That's just my experience though.

legacylegend11
2010 wrx: 265 bhp2007 lgt: 243 bhp Not a huge difference but enough to definitely feel it. Especially since there's about a 300 lb weight difference.

StoplightAssassin
probably the same if your stg2 5mt and launch hard enough
legacylegend11
I know starting at 60mph I can take one pretty easy (closed track of course) so from a hard launch I hope I'd be able to take one.
Boostin1657615274
on AWD cars you're not going to hit the "magazine times" unless you have ideal conditions and/or you beat the shit out of the car on the launch On the search for a new DD... GTTuner
I can pull 4.5's all day with a hard launch. A wimp launch is about 5 flat.
