Jeffzguy
So just a quick question. Do CV's and balljoints from say NAPA come pre packed and full of grease?
Platinum_Racing
Yes. Buy Moog parts if you can. They're excellent.
Jeffzguy
Where do I get those, I already bought napa stuff and installed them...
Platinum_Racing
Napa is really good too. Moog is a popular brand that makes high quality stuff. Either Napa or Moog are 100X better than the Duralast shit you get at AutoZone. I replaced a genuine OEM Nissan sway bar link on my Pathfinder with a Moog part and was dumbfounded by how much thicker the Moog part was, and how much bigger the ball joint part was. Napa parts are just as beefy from what I've seen, so I'd say you made the right choice.
Jeffzguy
Ya, I used to go to a thrifty auto which then became Carquest, but their stuff became crap after the change so I started to go to NAPA for better stuff and they give me a 20-50% off just for being a firefighter!
