Do I have the wrong KONI struts ? EPIC ENG. Springs / koni struts.

I tried to install my rear epic engineering springs onto my new koni rear struts. I compressed the shit out of the rear spring but I just couldnt get enough rod from the KONI to actually install the rear top hat. Anyone who has installed epic springs onto koni struts did you have the same issue ?

Maybe the rod is in compressed position?

Some struts have the rods compressed and you need to turn them counterclockwise until they pop out. Try that?

 

Did you get the right P/N struts? Usually you don't have to compress lowering springs that much to get the tophats on.

Guess how much frustration that caused ME over the weekend? Must have been a good hour~hour & half before I realized that was the problem.

Yep! Got 'em together & on the car in like 15 minutes after realizing the perch was upside down. I must have put the spring compressors on 5 or 6 different ways before just looking at the stockers & feeling like an idiot...

Shit you guys are amazing! I never thought about flipping the spring perch. Im going to try and install the rear springs onto the koni's tomorrow.
