twopointfiveturbo
My engine blew and I'm going to be replacing it with an engine of the same year and using the same parts that I went stage 2 with on the blown engine. I also have a map from Tuning Alliance, will I need to data-log and get a new map with the new engine even though I am using the same parts. My next problem is I have misplaced my cobb tuner because I recently moved, changed careers and got married all within a few weeks so my sh*t has been all over the place. I am hoping its not lost. Anyone have any advice as to what I should do? Will I be able to use the new engine on my same tune? I will also be upgrading clutch and flywheel while the engine is out. keithk831
It's a good place to start. I would flash over the new map, but be careful and log, log, log until you're sure everything is fine. Custom tunes are made made based on your specific engine's "preferences", if you will. Your new engine may be ok with it, or it may not.
