ExRex
A few weeks back my right front endlink broke. I finally got it fixed under warranty and picked the car up last night. Is it me, or did I loose grip? The car feels like it pushes a lot more now and doesn't stick quite as well. Obviously it doesn't roll as much, which is nice. So what do you think, is what I am experiencing totally psychosymatic, or did I gain a flatter cornering attitude at the expense of ultimate adhesion? eamiller
It's not your brain fooling you.. A stiffer rear will cause more oversteer. By having your front endlink break, the rear was significantly stiffer in roll resistance than the front causing more oversteering. However you do sacrifice extra body roll. Many autocrossers disconnect the front roll bar completely. Mostly on FWD cars though.
Drift Monkey
Perfect reason for you to get a larger rear bar now.
