I Donated broknindarkagain Posted September 10, 2010 I Donated Share Posted September 10, 2010 No, you should be fine. Your ECU will compensate for the extra air that the engine is getting. -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." E-Tank
The SPT intake does not have a very good reputation. When changing any part of your exhaust or intake systems it is always wise to tune/have your car tuned. In fact, by throwing on an intake without a tune you're more likely to lose power. At the very least you should datalog after the install to ensure there's no lean condition or knock events. Every car is different.

m sprank
You will be rich, not lean. You should not knock. You will have zero power gain. Very erratic MAF readings make for a more difficult tune.
