cchen1
For 18 holes this year, I've played Sandy Burr, Putterham, and Newton Commonwealth. Sandy Burr was by far the nicest, but I usually play at Putterham. However, I usually don't have the time to play 18. Most of the time, it's 9 holes for me, which means playing either Fresh Pond or Pine Meadows. I'm okay as far as playing; I haven't actually calculated my handicap, but I usually bogey everything. My putting is pretty piss poor - pretty aggravating to get on the green in 2 on a par 5, then 4 putt it in. I'm still getting to know the golf courses around here. What are some nice ones? JaeGT
I play golf with co-workers around the Framingham area. Friends in the worcester area. I'd say I'm a bogey golfer too. Jeff (mrjkk) should be chiming in soon.... he's like pro. haha. jk. I'm down for some golf with some LGT'ers. But depends on price and day. Fossil2k2
It sounds like a lot of you guys can shoot some pretty good golf. I've never gotten a real handicap but I usually shoot mid to high 90's. This year I've played: Turner Hill - Played in work related tournament, its a super nice private course in Ipswich. Probably one of the hardest courses I played. Salem Country Club - Another work related tournament, also very nice course, easier than Turner Hill, but still a challenge for me at least. Sandy Burr - One of my stand by courses, learned to play here, I left my eagle put on 11 short by about 1.5 feet this past sunday. Shot a 97 overall. Olde Scotland Links - This is a links style course down in Bridgewater, kinda interesting. I'm also right around the corner from Newton Commonwealth... I could walk there in 10 minutes. I haven't gotten the chance to play there this year. I'd be down for a round as well.
