Has anyone changed there interior lights to red?

go to your local parts store and you can either buy the proper bulbs for your car or they sell colored covers for the bulbs.

mines all blue. looks tight with my white trim. thats why i did the the trim by the way. so it would glow in the blue light.

I think red is cool, that is the color the buttons on my stereo are and I like it.

red is a very dim color. white is med like blue and green is ******* bright

I changed my map lights to red LEDs. Work great at night when you don't want to be blind from white lights suddenly coming on just to read something/a map.

so...you have a newer car. you can use red all you want

I did all my Cluster, Hvac illumi with a red sharpee. I colored the backs of all the buttons and then took the little green light condoms off the bulbs. For the cluster I wet sanded the back of the gauge faces till the green tint came off and then colored the backs red. Came out great. Its bee holding well to, almost a year and no fading. 2.50 and 3 hours of my time.

I have Red LEDs in the interior... they look sweet and always catch peoples attention when I get into the car in parking lots.

all my dash lights are red leds from superbrightleds. i sanded the green shit off the back, and as far as brightness, it is fine. but the light a LITTLE inconsistent. i have to look to notice it, or turn the brightness down but it is there. i still think it looks killer though. i would suggest doing it giro disc's way. its cheaper, no waiting for leds, AND the light is consistent.
