eze168 Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 Found this thread about 4th gen 5eat stalling in cold weather, http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/2008-lgt-5eat-almost-stalling-but-not-74001.html?t=74001 Now is this happening to anyone on hot summer days? Mine almost stalled twice last week, when i had my ac on 2nd setting and in intelligent mode. I then put it in sport mode and thought the isse went away...at least for now whenever i got my ac on a higher setting, i be in sport or s sharp modes
macdarwin Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 yeh the same thing here...I notice my RPM on idle is very low and when I suddenly step on the gas the RPM will drop a bit and hesitate/stall, so I let the car roll for a bit before I step on the gas... I hope the Stage 1 map will fix this.
CTSubiefan Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 I had trouble with this as well. I'm running a Cobb stage 1 map. I was able to remedy the problem by upping my idle rpm (+100) on the AP. Haven't had any stalls since the adjustment last August.
