Tune can not compensate for extra fuel when air is vented externally at BOV. It is a BPV in 100% revirc and a BOV in other settings. All a new BPV/BOV will do is hold more boost than stock. If you vent to atmosphere and get a "pop" on shifts, this is normal and should not be detrimental to anything. You are rich at shift and the condition lasts for less than 1 second.
