JeffK1320 Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I'm wondering if anyone has installed TPMS sensors into a set of '04 STI BBS rims? If so were there any issues? Thanks, Jeff K. '07 Forester STI (ECS Performance)..SOLD! '09 Spec B...Sold! '11 LGT Limited...Sold! '17 STI Limited
BAC5.2 Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Shouldn't be any issues at all. There is a whole thread of LGT's running STi BBS wheels. berkshire40 Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Yeah the wheel really doesn't have anything to do with it. You just need compatible TPMS sensors and valve stems. The sensors screw into the end of the valve stems. Make sure the wheels are balanced after all this. Mod list & photos _
Mr. Sinister Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I installed 08 sensors on 04 BBSs and they work great. BTW, some wheels won't fit some sensors. A search online will show this.
JeffK1320 Posted July 20, 2010 Author Posted July 20, 2010 Thanks guys. I was just making sure there was enough room for the sensors. Jeff K. '07 Forester STI (ECS Performance)..SOLD! '09 Spec B...Sold! '11 LGT Limited...Sold! '17 STI Limited
