nastyhello Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 looking at a set of rims with this offset for an 06 Legacy gt ltd. would these stick out far or require anything extra to ensure a good, quality fit? any help would be appreciated. thanks.
clarkwgriswold Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I'm runing 17x7 +40 offset and they sit out about 3/8 of an inch further than stock. Almost flush.
cbarela Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 I'm running 18x8, et35. Had to roll the rear and front fenders.
Blue GT Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Whats the width of the rim? Offset can only be taken into consideration if we all know the width of the rim. We need both parts of the equation. The wheel fitment FAQ should answer your question.
cbarela Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 18x8.0+38 5x100 Stock height = no problem at all. But....if you are lowered at least 1" you will most likely have to do some slight modding. Such as removal of the rear wheel well rubber trim and eventually some rolling. With my wheel set-up (18x8, et35), I am sitting flush and I had to do both in the rear and set some negative camber in the front.
