replacing clutch

Not hard, just a bit time consuming. Here's a synopsis:

* Drain the tranny

* Pull the starter

* Drop the exhaust

* Pull the front driveshafts

* Pull the propshaft

* Remove the tranny crossmember

* Support the tranny with a tranny jack

* Disconnect all the crap going to the transmission (electrical stuff, shift rod, clutch hydraulics)

* Disconnect the dogbone

* Unbolt the tranny

* Lift the front of the engine up (gently!) with a jack to get the tranny down

* Wiggle the tranny loose

* Drop it

* Get it out of the way

* Unbolt the clutch plate, take it and the disc out

* Inspect everything, consider removing the flywheel and doing the rear mainseal

* Have the flywheel resurfaced if needed

* Replace the pilot bearing

* Install a new clutch disk and plate with a centering tool and follow the torquing instructions

* Replace the throwout bearing over the input shaft

* Lightly grease the splines on the input shaft and the release fork

* Reinstall the tranny and test the clutch action

* Put it all back together

* Refill the tranny

* Drive it lightly until the clutch breaks in (a couple hundred starts)

* Enjoy

Pretty sure I didn't leave anything out.

Or you could pull the engine to get at the clutch...a lot of folks prefer this method...probably the same amount of work either way...

Thats what I would do
