bulb suggestion (Nokya bulbs)

Hey guys,

 

Just wondering what you guys think of the followings bulbs. I am kind of sick of the stock bulbs, want something a little different. I am not a big fan of HIDs. Any suggestions or comments?

Not a fan of HIDs? Then go with the Osram Hyper/Rallye +65 or, if you prefer to stick with stock wattage, the Osram Nightbreaker or Phillips Xtreme Power. Those are all proven choices, and very, very good options, and very well-suited for those who dislike HIDs for their "stark white" component, favoring instead a slightly "warmer" light color.

 

If you're not averse to turning off your DRL, HIR1 becomes a very good option for your high-beams, as well as for your fogs, if you don't see much true-fog situations and/or intend off-protocol use of the fogs.

For HIRs, I'd recommend FineMotoring - aka "MaxLumens" on eBay.

 

Alternatively, Candlepower.com is a good source, too, and can often be a full one-stop shop for all of the above.

Not a fan of HIDs, but want a halogen bulb that immitates HID?

PIAA Super White bulbs. I like these very much. It retains the same watts but has a classy clean look. I replaced the daytime running lights and the fogs. Still working after 1 year.
