04 sti rotor inner diameter?

can someone tell me the inner diameter of the 04 sti stock rotor?

I am using unclemat's modified shoes for the brembo rear conversion. After all parts intalled,

I found out that the rotor I have is too small.

I got the 04 sti set used and the rotor is 5x100 bolt patten but the inner wall seems to be too small to house the modified brake shoes.

The rotor inner diameter measured around 170mm.

I suspec thtat that rotor I got is the adapter rotor not the 04 sti stock size rotor.

can someone confirm that's the correct rotor size or see if I did something wrong?

Simple question, did you buy the parts from somebody who did the brembo swap to their car? It looks like the DBA rotor that works with STi brembos, but the smaller parking brake pads.

 

Lastly, if the inside diameter is the same as your stock rotor, yep, you have the adapted rotor.

 

Well, STi is 190mm.

Thanks for the info. The rotor has the same inside diameter as my stocker so I guess it’s the adapter roter then…

I sourced it from a used part dealer, I told him that I was looking for a set of 04 brembo for my lgt so maybe he just throw in the adapter rotor.

oh well..I guess I could have saved some money from buying the adapter shoes and 4 hrs trying to fit that thing!!
