Driver72
I think they're out now right? Anybody see one on the road yet? Anybody know of anyone who bought one? I'd like to take one on a test drive just to compare.

crash
do they give a reason as to why? They said that they wanted to focus more attention on higher volume models like the MX-5 and Mazda5. In my opinion, the crapola reviews it got put it way down on their to-do lists....
dgags31
I did see one at the NY auto show. They aren't bad looking. Wonder what the performence #'s are gonna be like? I've seen a 0-60 in 6.6 sec.
wunderkind
Taking into account for power-to-weight ratio, 0-60mph would prolly be about 6.0 or thereabouts. It is a bit on the porky side.
D-2.5-GT
from what i could find it was just because their engineers were overworked and too busy with the miata releases and such....pretty BS response if you ask me. I think this will kill the MS6 right out of the box. Now you are releasing the car in the fall, well after other 2006 models come out. Not to mention selling the car that time of year advertised as awd....with the summer only tires on it. Not good choices IMO.
mmm def
I sat in it at the NY auto show, felt kind of cheap, shiny cheap plastics inside. It did look nice from the outside. Anybody else sit in it?

iuksob03
I sat in it at the detroit auto showand felt pretty much the same way. I wasn't real thrilled by the two tone leather plus it wasn't nearly as soft as that in the legacy. The dash did somewhat reek of the ford parts bin. Wasn't a big fan of the exterior styling either. It looked like they ruined the lines of the 6 when they tried to cram the turbo in there. Glad I didn't wait around for it.

It definetly doesn't have the High end car feel our cars interior has ( I think).

dsutcliffe44
I did see one on the freeway the other day. I was surprised to see it because I thought they had not been released to the public as of yet. Don't know how the guy got it obviously. I gotta say it looked pretty nice from the outside, but I didn't see the inside at all. The freeway was a bit too trafficy for me to want to play a little. wunderkind
the outside was spoiled by the bulbous hood to clear the tmic. interior is like a mazda6 but has leather trim and fancy colours. Mazda6 has been out for a while and the interior is getting dated.
GTSpeed
Whimpy, Whimpy, Whimpy...I pitty the fool who pays more for one of those than a LGT and gets dusted by me... The sales man at the mazda dealership was trying to compare it to the A4 quatro, BMW's, and Mercedes with all wheel drive. He didn't appreciate when I pointed out that the current LGT is faster and less expensive. He got down right pouty when I told him the LGT looks better IMO...
