3.0R
the mufflers on the 09 3.0R/2.5GTs have dual exhaust, but theres still a liner inside the tip of the muffler, which reduces the width by about an inch. Is there any way to safely remove this liner in order to clear up my muffler, and maybe increase rumble? Or is it that the liner runs all the way through the tip and muffler down to the pipes. TRSCobra
That "liner" you speak of is the actual pipe, and the smallest part of it is the diameter of the pipe inside the mufflers. The tip is just a stainless piece that goes over it.
snow05gtRI
look up "hog-zawst" for an easy way to increase rumble. 3rd thread down.
3.0R
sorry stupid question about the exhaust, right after i posted i just checked up close, sorry for wasting your time. im just gonna go with the performance mufflers from magnaflow, and hogzawst seemed like a decent idea but id rather have a smoother sounding rumble, not too loud or raspy
