subielineman
So the battery in my 1999 subaru legacy 2.5 gt died due to the wife leaving the parking lights on. So I charged the battery and went to start it but now it will only sputter and die. The car ran great before, it has 116,000 miles on it and I've never had a problem. I pulled the plugs and they looked ok the only thing I can think of is it's not getting fuel, and yes the tank is full. Just looking for any ideas if any of you have had a similar problem. Thanks, Adam
subikid90
Check your fuel pump, it might have gone bad. Also you can check fuses, doubt its the problem though. Sounds ike you are on the track with a fuel issue though. -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap
kaz98gt
I'd pull a plug and make sure you're getting a spark also. I'm not sure how to diagnose a fuel pump issue, but that could also be a good starting point.
