milooney
I noticed on my way home from work that my brake and battery trouble lights come on if I put my foot into the gas. Anyone else ever had this problem or have an idea of what it could be? Any help would be appreciated.
Zues Marine
driving 75mph at night while taking a pic seemed like a good idea to me too, lol first time that's happened? any ill effects? or was it driving normal but just the lights?
milooney
Noticed It had been doing it before, just started doing it a lot more. Nothing else seems weird, brakes are solid, headlights are constant, nothing else flickers.
Zues Marine
try resetting the ecu, see if that clears thing up...
c-lo
did you really have to take a pic of your "trouble" ie...warning lights? Like we don't know what you mean? 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos
kaz98gt
+1 I know that's for some kind of a faulty connection somewhere; mine did that when the alternator wasn't charging anything, and it turned out I had a bad one. But it doesn't sound like the case for you, because yours still drives and everything. it's only when you give it gas?
milooney
Yeah, only when I'm accelerating. I'll have to try the ECU today, I'm hoping its not just a short somewhere, because that's going to be a pain to chase down.
