Zues Marine
youre going to get sag.. i guarantee it.. legacys are heavier than wrx's, what makes it look even more saggy is the bigger front wheel arch..
Baddog
I think I need to get the spacers for the rear for when I get bigger rims otherwise I think the back tire will look like its up in the fender well.
Zues Marine
its that damn front arc!
Baddog
lol. Should I risk trying to put a 16 back there hoping for no rub?
98quiksilvergt
I can't believe how much better my car handles in the turns. It's like a different car! I only have the wrx parts in the front. Still have lgt parts in the rear. I was expecting my front end to be lower but, it didn't drop my front end at all. It's so much stiffer though. Canyonero
yea i agree. im happy with it to so far. plan on gettin butt sag spacersto make it look even at least. hoping to get some eibach springs maybe to bring it down a little more.
Zues Marine
ride height list from stock legacy, not outback: WRX Stock Stuff - .25-.5" drop Eibach - 1"-1.25" drop H&R - 1.5-2.25" Tein Shit-Tech - 2.5-3" just ride height there, not rates and stiffness
98quiksilvergt
Good info! Maybe that's why I don't notice any drop. I have stock wrx springs with KYB GR-2's. It would be hard to notice a 1/4 inch, or even a 1/2 inch.
98quiksilvergt
I might get some lowering springs too. I'll keep my legacy parts to raise it back up for winter. It only takes 10-15 minutes per strut to swap them. I didn't even have to pull my brakes off.
Canyonero
that sounds about right. luckily we dont get winter here in so cal. lol
Baddog
Yeah I saw a drop from my stock struts/springs over to 04 WRX struts/springs. So it made me happy. I want it a little lower after I get rid of that annoying ass sag.
Canyonero
its that damn front arc! ok so if i use leggy gt front end (bumper, fenders.) would it even the look of the car out? I was thinking of swapping the front end anyway i like the gt front bumper alot more.
awdguy
Just installed my old 04 wrx struts on my 95 leg wag. Drop is great rear looks since it's level with front with my old prodrive springs. I'll post pics later.
kaz98gt
my springs have settled in (h&r) and ive got the buttsag. it's really getting obnoxious; can anyone confirm those spacers go between the tophat and the frame? I just wanna double check before I order them, because if they do it's a simple thing to throw in. also, do you know if the stock studs are long enough for a 1/2" spacer, or is the 3/8" as far as we can go? edit: stupid me. it's at the top of the damn page. anyway, which spacers should I use from the one that was posted earlier? Zues Marine
ok so if i use leggy gt front end (bumper, fenders.) would it even the look of the car out? I was thinking of swapping the front end anyway i like the gt front bumper alot more. the fenders and hood are the same for all models of 2nd gen legacy.. the gt bumper is different, obviously, but wont do anything but make your car appear lower to the trained eye... because of the bottom of the cover is lower than the L's
98quiksilvergt
I got my Megan racing springs! Just lowered it today! Looks bad ass too! Yes the spacers go between the top hat and the body. I got the 3/8 spacers from paranoid fab. $30 shipped. Great deal. Other people wanted 30 before shipping. I'll post a pic up in a few.

Noeladams
I have a friend who is going to give me a really good deal on his wrx suspension for my 97 outback.... I was curious it it would work just because the outback shocks and stuff are toast.... Interested in seeing before and after pics of the car.
