Lighted Shift Knob?

What do you guys think?

Apparently the brand is really high quality, reading some reviews on Rennlist and such.

It looks like you'd have to slide this on, then set-screw it in place. I'd probably drill a small divot into the shifter so the set-screw doesn't spin.

I'd prefer an actual thread-on option, but it doesn't look like that is possible.

I also have no idea how to go about affixing the factory shift boot. It looks like the knob is MUCH larger in base diameter than the factory knob is.

I've been mildly interested in having an illuminated shift knob ever since I drove my first M3.

Thoughts?

Looks like it would be ~$85USD to ship here.

Link? Looks pretty cool.

I'm tempted to try, but hesitant to blow $85 on a whim, when I have a Brembo swap to finish.
