lucas569
ah ok cause i have a chance to buy some 08sti seats. i bought some wrx seats (same as sti) only they were all black. didnt know at the time i could put some resistors to fool the airbag diode. so make a long story short i passed em forward. Leke
When I talked to him a few months ago, Tomcat informed me that it's 100% plug and play - no need to fumble with resistors.
lucas569
that would be real nice. even if theyre not "plug n play" my main concern was the brackets lining up to the bolt holes. when i fitted the wrx seats 2 holes didnt line up. not a big deal could have retrofitted em (after reading how another member put the older sti seats seats in his lgt) i wanted it to be reversable if i decide to sell my car one day. So when i heard the 08 sti brackets lined up i was happy as a pig in shit. found a clean set from a totaled sti
DRoc7822
This is awesome!!! I'm gonna be on the look out for sti seats now!
Leke
I've been looking into getting WRX seats - they're similar to the STi, no alcantara, but can be found at a much cheaper price. I have the tan interior in my car, so I'd be getting them reupholstered. Though, I need to find a shop that can match the colour to the stock interior

Leke
I was actually thinking of doing that. Those are the exact seats I was going to buy. Hopefully once I get some money freed up I'll spring on a set

moncur_6
May be a dumb question...but I know you have all thought about how uncomfortable our stock seats are on long trips... Are these seats any comfier? If it's a substantial difference I will be checking out Ebay
Whatisit
the 08+ wrx/sti seats have alot more lateral support. your best bet would be to sit in one and see if you like em or not.
spartan
These seats definitely aren't cheap. I have had my feelers out for a little while and I haven't seen a set go for less than like $700 for just the fronts.

spartan
You should at least check and see if they will fit, that would help people out a ton.
