Rallitek Swaybar Opinions?

I have their set and really like the fitment and quality. The only thing I wish was different was that the rear sway bar size matched the front. When I took the car autocrossing it still understeered a lot. The car feels so much more tight and stable in turns than with the stock setup.

Great customer service, give them a call and see what type of deal they can work getting them shipped to you.

Just be sure to get some extra grease for the bushings, they didn't come with much and it dried up fast.

For the price, you can't beat these.... and I also bought their lowering springs as well!

Using the perrins 25 matching front and rear. Can't beat the price ~$260 for both if I recall correctly (the rear is only 90 bucks which makes the package so cheap). Great fitment and both adjustable as well. Car is like a dream compared to stock now.

I've installed the ralliteks front/rear with their upgraded endlinks and also purchased the AVO Rear SB reinforcement brackets. They supplied grease in a 35mm film container...just ask them to put an extra splooge or two in there if ur concerned. Another trick is to wrap the bushing area on the bar with teflon tape before adding the grease - ancient chinese secret. I'll update this post a little later with some shots at my last auto-x so you can see my resulting body roll...I put these on after installing and running Tein Flex's for a while, so I didn't experience as drastic a change in roll stiffness as I may have if just adding the bars in conjunction with the stock struts.. Also running '04 STi bbs and Dunlop Z1 tires (225)

Still not as fast as an STi, though, damn it.

I would like to add since I did little more driving today. It is true that I am able to do maneuvers that I weren't before, meaning if I did try, i would end up crashing into a house or a building. the biggest change is that the car is more predictable, there is still about 10% of the turn that is not, but big change from before where I was left only with about 50%, now i can say 90% of the time I can pretty much tell where the car is going to end up. The issue is that when the body rolled, when it popped back into the original position, the car would sometimes go out of control, this happens right now, but so tiny, that you might not even notice it. The second big change, I can make faster turns, why? because the tires are now sticking the road more... the steering wheel also fills slightly stiffer. everything else is pretty much the same.. have to get those springs/struts/etc

Updated my post above with some pics from an auto-x earlier this month. Again, this is with Tein Flex's 8/9K springs, and the rallitek bars. I was running 42psi front / 38 psi rear cold. As you can see from my sidewall flex, it was sticking...LOL. Still a fair amount of body roll, though, but much less than stock, I'm sure.

Bigger bars will just make you lose more grip if you dont have good sticky tires. You should also look into a better springs/strut combo...

Really, are the STIis' modded...do you have any engine mods?

No..no engine mods. At that particular auto-x where the pics were taken, the course was very tight. The added weight of the Leggy over the STi was a contributing factor along with most all the STi's running in my club have some level of suspension and tuning work... I'll be getting a little help from a cobb AP here for the next one. Hopefully I can keep from over-driving, slow down to go fast kind of thing. :)
