Volks!!...18x8.0 +43?!!!...you stickin out more than me!! :D Did you want that offset? (or "i'd be going at a slant with this"???)

Sorry guys, I wasn't payin' attention when I typed +43-- that's _+46_ on the offset. Not quite as radical as posted before. We now return you to your regularly scheduled wheels...

someone explain how to put pictures in the forum and i'll put pictures of my car with Blitz Technospeed 18x8.5 Z1's...thanks.

blitz Z1 18x8.5 +51 offset blitz finish*

Hey myst1k010, it looks like you were unable to post pictures. Here's how: on the bottom of the page, click "Go Advanced" to get into the full reply screen. Once in there, scroll down and you'll come across a button that says "Manage Attachments". Click that and you'll be able to browse for your pictures and upload them. The last thing is that the pictures have a size constraint of 800x600 and a file size limit of about 160kb.

Hope that helps.

Volk GT-C's in gunmetal.

i know this may be WTLM.5, but OMGHAWT! my most favourite wheels. :D

Boxer, what size and offset are those? also is your car lowered? i'm still waiting on delivery of my LGT, but from what i understand, i have to replace the RE92's, so i might as well go all out. i'm hoping to find a set of gold GT-C's (or maybe GT-N's, or reasonable lookalikes ;)), and would love your input on sizing/offset on your setup.

thanks!

That is a lot of subies on one street.

I have been intrigued by ROH wheels since a member here (GTLIB1) showed pics of his silver Liberty/Legacy with ROH Modenas. (his thread is here: GTLIB1's Pic Thread)

I noticed that a set of very slightly curb-rashed ROH Adrenaline (gunmetal or "shadow chrome") wheels on ebay, in 18x8 5x100 bolt-pattern, and listed to fit a WRX (and thus an LGT, I would certainly think.) ebay auction, with pics

I think someday I might upgrade the miata to a set of those in 17x7.

Also, the new ROH Mantis might be a good looking wheel for those who like the look of the Nissan Altima SE-R's wheels.

Link to ROH's online catalog

The wheel is shown, but I couldn't get the info page to come up. Perhaps GTLIB1 could get the specs for us (they are manufactured very near where he lives.)

I like the ROH wheels too. I had the ROH Fury's on my last car in Black Ice. I really liked the look. Here's a pic of my Altima. Oh yeah, one more thing I should mention - these definitely are not light weight by any means. I think each wheel w/ tire weighed in at 45lbs.

Forgive me, I don't know much about wheels and all, just wondering what all this "offset" stuff was. What does that mean? And why are they different even for people with the same wheel size. Is it something that needs to be done when I get wheels on my car? Thanks...

Offset is the dimension of the wheel that says how far from the wheel's centerline between the inside of the rim and the outside of the rim, the mating surface is. It establishes the mating surface, where the hub of the wheel meets the hub of the brake disk. It determines how far in or out the wheel sits from the suspension.

Wheel offset varies with wheel width (not with diameter) so that is why different wheels have different offsets for the same fitment.

Check the Wheel FAQ thread. XenonK has lots of information there.

Well...I'm back in the market for some more 18's :D (just sold my wheels today)...

I'm gonna go with something like 18x7.5 with at least +42 offset..going with something some lip, preferably polished lip and gunmetal or black wheels...wish me luck and any suggestions welcome! :D
