str8dwn
With the addition of two amps and a sub, my wagon already leans noticeably to the rear. Now, I'm planning to add a hitch and hitch rack. Loaded with bikes, I have a feeling it will pop wheelies! I'm not out for the "hydro" look here. What size shims will get me leveled back out? Is the answer to lower the front only with Ralliteks? Remove the spare? Below is before hitch.
bochinam
I'd go with the biggest. What ever size you get, get the extended studs to go with it. BTW, what hitch / rack you thinking of getting? I want something like a swing daddy but all the 2" receivers out there look like azz and hang too low.
str8dwn
Any idea on what size I need though? 1/2? 3/8? 1"? I went with the newer #87446 Hidden Hitch - Class III & IV. It's more triangular with less exposed at the bumper. I'll post pics once installed. For a rack, I went with the new Thule 916XT T2.
peteyjr
I would go with the 1/2 inch with the extended studs. I'm about to order the same . You can get both here: http://www.fastwrx.com/sabusp1.html
str8dwn
Thanks! Just ordered studs and 1/2 spacers. We'll see how it goes.
