I may head up there with a few friends, definitely going to detail the Subaru next week in preparation Wild Wheels Cruisin' Weekend Event Date: Apr 17 2010 - Apr 18 2010 Location: 19th Street Municipal Lot and the Boardwalk The ALL NEW Wild Wheels Cruisin’ Weekend is coming to Virginia Beach, Virginia Saturday-Sunday, April 17-18, 2010. This event will feature multiple events along the beautiful Virginia Beach oceanfront both days! Meet Ben Jones, who starred as “Cooter” in the wildly-popular “Dukes of Hazzard” TV show. See the “General Lee” from “Dukes of Hazzard” and enjoy live music by Cooter’s Garage Band. A limited number of cars will be accepted to participate in the car show. To register as a participant, car owners should visit http://www.virginiabeachcarshows.com. Through March 31, the registration fee is $35 per vehicle. Beginning April 1, the registration fee is $45. Registrations should be submitted as soon as possible to guarantee inclusion as a participant. Space is limited for car show participants. The main location for Wild Wheels Cruisin’ Weekend will be the Municipal lot at 19th Street & Pacific Avenue. See hot rods, street machines, classic cars, and trick trucks, which will all compete for trophies and awards. Thousands of car enthusiasts will be able to view all the cars on display, and shop the various vendor and sponsor booths. “Cooter” from “Dukes of Hazzard” and the “General Lee” car will be featured at the 19th Street location. Admission for the 19th Street Municipal Lot location is $10 per person (children 12 and under free). The hours for the 19th Street Municipal Lot show are Saturday, April 17: 10:00am-6:00pm; and Sunday, April 18: 10:00am-5:00pm. Tickets will be available at the gate only, during the hours of the show. Saturday morning includes a brief free car show along the Boardwalk from 8th to 24th Streets (9:00am-10:00am). A second brief car show, free to the public, will take place Saturday evening along Atlantic Avenue from 17th to 21st Streets (6:00pm-9:00pm).
