illt3ck
How much does the knob run? Also, how does the ss + bushings feel? and finally how hard were the bushings to install?

F22-raptor
Took me..Well my buddy who has done it before, 25 min for bushings and the SS. The knob is about 70-80$ straight from the Subaru site. I am sure you could find someone to give you a discount. The Bushings make everything just snap into place. It feels really good. No more squishiness changeing gears. Thanks Tronix I will be Tomorrow
d.scott of suburbia
I got mine with the car when I purchased it. Loving it! Now I'm debating whether or not I ought to go with the short-throw shifter and bushings. Is the difference really that profound? Personally, I really like the way the shifter on the Acura TSX feels. The throw is short, and the shifts are so prescise. Not sure if you've had any experience with the TSX shifter, but I'm wondering if a short-throw shifter and bushings would create a similar feel? D.SCOTT Well I had a SS on my Celica 2001. And this was as precise and short as that. Just kinda snaps in place. Def a worthwhile mod.
KevinSoD
Looking good! These are a very popular upgrade for us! A very popular option is to add the shift knob, the sill plates, and pedal covers. They give the interior a bit of a zip. http://www.hot-subaru.com
