DKB_SATX Posted April 10, 2005 Share Posted April 10, 2005 I just made a good deal without much trouble ($1200 under invoice for an '05 LGT Limited Wagon, Atlantic Blue, 5MT) with Gerald Dunn at North Park Subaru in San Antonio, TX. They gave me a reasonable amount for my trade (less than I wanted, but isn't it always? It was fair for my high-mileage, low-tread GTI.) I haven't picked up the car yet, so I may be posting a follow-up, but from my experience so far I'm not expecting the kind of problems I've seen posted here in other threads. I posted pics in the other thread linked above, or you can see them at http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/yamaha_fj12/album?.dir=/8c3e I'm still pleased with Gerald Dunn, he seems to have worked fairly hard to get the detail team to get it right... he took the car back across to them when a couple of the things I'd pointed out on Saturday were not addressed. Overall North Park made it a painless experience to get a good deal on the car I really wanted. (Now, I let them think I wanted a somewhat different car, figuring they'd try to sell me this one since they didn't have exactly what I was looking for... but that's just good negotiating. They also gave me a good price on the car but less than I wanted for my trade-in (a low mileage 2001 Accord V6 Coupe). Is their service center open now?
