Benders
I do not believe so, but Im not 100% sure. I have NOT seen a cover on a second gen legacy yet tho.

WESTcoast
no they dont, you might be thinking of somthing like in the H6 motors or newer LGTs that have engine covers, but not our cars

Stang70Fastback
Oh, wow, I never knew such a thing existed, lol. Can't decide whether that looks cool, or silly considering how the rest of the engine bay is still exposed, lol. Sweet tho.
guest user
That's the one. All of the Foresters I owned had that cover. What's up with the top of the line model not having a cover like this? IMO,it makes the engine compartment have a more finished look.
slow95suby
it cost me 5 dollars couldnt pass it up.

GNG_Kirby
I like the look, plus I would think there might have been some issues of water sitting on the coil pack without the covers being there. I'll go see if I can pick one up tomorrow! Thanks.
Benders
Sorry for kicking a dead horse, but I picked one of these covers up from a yard and was wondering how you mounted it. I didn't get the mounting tab things cause the donor car was a ej22 and mine is a ej25 and it didn't look like the mounts for the cover would bolt to my car the same way. -Ben
guest user
My guess is the mounts would have fit. Might have needed a little adjusting at most. I believe the engines are about the same on the outside, they gained the extra CID internally. Hate to say it,but you should have grabbed the mounts. Benders
Well damn. Guess Ill have 2 go back and get em, or make some. I thought the 2.2 had a different intake mani tho? It looked completely different than mine. It was from a first gen legacy btw, and mine is second gen. I don't see driving over an hour for the brackets so ill prob make some. Thanks guys, -Ben
