SATSFYD
Does any one here have a UR Power Steering Pulley (Stock Diameter) on their Legacy? They have them at this web site for sale: http://www.unorthodoxracing.com/Itemdetail.aspx?PartID=011342412&Year=2006&Make=4&Model=202 I am just asking if anyone has one or knows of anyone that has one. I had one (PS) on my 95 Integra and seemed like my gas mileage went up more than my HP or TQ. **There are two types of people in the world, those who build horsepower and those who buy it. tjbev21
IIRC the only gains you will see from a lightweight pulley is at the crank...
schwinn
http://www.teamscr.com/motorsports/tech-articles/45-underdrive-pulleys-our-testing.html In other words, you might rev the motor a bit faster with a smaller/lighter pulley, but it's not really much of a performance adder. And posts like this http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2813376 make me think that an aftermarket pulley can cause more problems than they are worth... But hey, that's just me... m sprank
Underdriven pulleys can be problems. On Legacys a lightened crank pulley makes the most improvement on the 5EAT. Very mild if noticeable at all on the MT.
ClimberDHexMods
Seen a couple cars with UR pulley set. They had no complaints. It's a pulley(s).
