E-Tank
OH NOES! Just went out on my break at work. While I was parked eating I heard a squeaking and turned off the radio. It sounds like a belt is off track/bad, but after popping the hood and inspecting I couldn't see the problem. I went to leave my parking spot and realized that I have no power steering. Then I noticed that the battery light on my dash is lit. The car is practically undriveable and I'm at work til 9:00. What's going on?

It's looks like this-
E-Tank
The bolt that holds the drive belt tensioner to the alternator snapped. I bought a reverse drill bit this morning and will be taking off the alternator tonight to get the broken bolt out. I called the dealership and asked if this was a common problem. They said they had never heard of it happening, but if I wanted them to fix it I should expect to pay for a couple hours labor. I spent $5 on a bit and am pretty confident I can have everything fixed up in a half hour. I will take pics. I'm sure this has/will happen to someone else at some point.
