NJLGT
Ok so i ordered an xo2 exhaust system. Im going to keep my stock mufflers (already have pre-sold the cans). I'm going to coat the pipes with high temp paint to prevent rust. Today i was thinking about how many compliments I get on my RED perrin sway bar and how it looks cool under my car. I was thinking of painting the mid and y with red high remp paint as well even though i dont think you can see it becuse my car is very low to the ground i think it would be different to do and it would be interesting looking when its up on the lift. I don't think i have ricer ways, my car looks completly stock except for cleared headlights and audi style leds above the headlights and the fact that it's lowered and you can see the rear sway bar. Let me know what you think, would this be rice or nice?
boosted subaru
I think it could look cool if it was done right. I'd be very interested to see some pics if you do this.

05lgt5spd
You could rock black, or grey or something that would blend in, but even when I see honda's undercarriage parts painted, it grosses me out.
Pawlwawl06
i vote for black. Someone had a black perrin exhaust system and it looked madd ill.
Mr. Sinister
I wouldn't bother as it'll just get beat up over time, but do whatever makes you happy.
bnguyenbb6
I pretty much think that if you have to ask if its rice or nice... its the former. If you are going to rock something, just do it. If you are iffy about it, people will give you an iffy reaction.
joeleodee
Let me preface by saying that not all modded Honda's are rice. Some are quite tasteful (but I'd still never have one to mod). One question you should ask instead if you are unsure is "If I saw this on a Honda, would I think it is rice?" Â However, this may all be immaterial because it seems that in defining rice, folks have come to the consensus that to be deemed rice, it must present a visual or audio mod that give the impression of high performance, yet offer no real advantage beyond the initial perception. One can then pose that an aftermarket exhaust on our cars, since it really does not increase performance (arguable), is rice. So what is rice and what is not is all in the interpretation. I think the only things we can agree on is that fundamentally, rice envelops mods such as loud fartcans, unrepresented stickers and other decals, over-the-top and disfunctional bodykits,, wings, spoilers, etc., dangerously cut lowering springs and fake turbo whistlers all portrayed on cars with little to no performance edge over their stock counterparts. You be the judge, but like mentioned previously, if you have to ask, is it really worth it?
theGeneral
I just spray the pipes with high temp. black. But red might look cool as long as you don't get red paint all over everything under there.

Windy Road
You have any photos of underneath the car looking at the Y pipe. I want to know if the mid and y pipe hang any lower then stock, since I'm probably going to order one in the next coming month. 276hp/347tq On a DynoJet Dyno Video - Had a big lean spot as you can tell in the second pull

Windy Road
No problem, I can't seem to find any ones in a search. I'm in no rush since I'll be ordering after Christmas anyway. 276hp/347tq On a DynoJet Dyno Video - Had a big lean spot as you can tell in the second pull
