btillfan1948
I wanted to upgrade the lights on my 08 LGT. Just wanted to see better in winter night driving. That said, I asked Daniel Stern to recommend the headlight and fog light bulbs for my car. Ok, so I got the H7 Osram Rallye 65w ultra high output, and the HIR Bulbs (H1R1) 9011. These bulbs swapped out with the OEM's with no problem, and they really brighten the road at night much better then the OEM. I had no problem getting to my fog lights. However, when I removed the OEM fog light bulb and compared it to the H3 Osram Night Breaker +90 Ultra High Output 55w I received from Candlepower.com I was shocked to see a entirely different bulb and base. What the hell? I said. The new Night Breaker even had what looks like a white ground wire with a spade connection coming from it. The OEM has no such wire. Is this the right bulb? How do I make it fit? Maybe the fog light bulb Daniel Stern recommend is the wrong bulb. I'm confused:spin:Please help if you can. Thanks........Jim:confused:

And also what windy road said, here: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45991&page=33 Pull the bulb out, and see what it is....I also think that what you have is HB4/9006. If that's the case, and you want a white bulb, you will be able to get the HIR1/9011 to fit in that location by performing the "hi-lo" mod. <-- I love Winky, my "periwinkle" (ABP) LGT! - Allen / Usual Suspect "DumboRAT" / One of the Three Stooges '16 Outback, '16 WRX, 7th Subaru Family
