Nick1657615219
Does anyone know of a HID install guide or write up that anyone has done? I have an 08 LGT. Thanks Nick
FJ60
Same question here. Found one for 2010, but I'm looking for '05+. Especially interested in pics of where/how you mounted the hardware. Just received my Xtreme kit from Xenon Expert. "Sweep the leg!" - Sensei Kreese, Karate Kid
johnAWD
I did my hid swap per a writeup here on lgt.com. Search is your friend...
Squiden
If you are looking to perform a full retro-fit, you can't go wrong with this write-up from MiniStiGuy: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56028 Do note that there is some trimming required for the 08+ headlamps (just so you are not suprised like I was... there is some pictures later in the thread showing the trimming required for the 08+). However, the results are well worth it! Squid
FJ60
I did my hid swap per a writeup here on lgt.com. Search is your friend... I did search. The closest to what I'm looking for is this: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124057&highlight=HID+install Again, it was for a 2010. I was hoping for pics indicating how people mounted their HID hardware (i.e. ballast, relay, etc) on a 2005-2008. I'll be installing an Xtreme kit. I would greatly appreciate a pic of where/how you mounted the parts, johnAWD. JayRez33
http://www.pimpmyauto.com/Legacys/H7%20HID%20kit%20install.htm I used this....the hardest part is finding a spot to mount the ballast Just look for a place where they will be completely out of the way from any moving pieces and make sure they are very secure as you dont want them to fall of as you drive
Leke
I did search. Full writeup: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69506&highlight=hid Example of mounting location: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107382&highlight=HID+install Another example of mounting location: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113616&highlight=HID+install And another: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=112070&highlight=HID+install From what I've seen there isn't really any 'specific' mounting location. The ballasts do get hot so it's a good idea to keep them away from anything that you don't want to melt (ie. loose wires). If you're using a relay, make sure you route it through the engine bay safely and keep it away from any spinning engine parts. Mine is going to run in or around the bumper beam as I do not want any wires showing.

Nick1657615219
Ok, installed them but the light is pointing in a funky direction. I did not adjust the headlamps, just installed the HIDs. Anyone have a problem with this?
