05lgt5spd
So I just bought a brand new stanza roof spoiler in carbon fiber for my 05. Turns out my girlfriend moved some things in the garage and thought the roof of my car was a safe place to put it...FAIL> I drove off not knowing it was there (blends in with my roof rack and dark regal blue) It fell off and put some good size chips in the finish. I think it can be fixed, has anyone has experience with T88 epoxy? Sounds like I just need to fill the chips in with epoxy. I know it will always be noticeable, but I don't have any other choices. Any suggestions will be appreciated!
93turbo2
I found this on google, the guy repaired the clearcoat on his whole hood and it looks pretty good. http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=63197
05lgt5spd
wow, all that work, for what was most likely a $300 hood? Pretty impressive though. I filled it in a bit with a clear epoxy. I will see how it looks when it dries

05lgt5spd
Yeah the epoxy filled it in pretty well, but now I need a super fine sandpaper to smooth it out.
MiniStiGuy
get yourself some 600 grit sand paper and 2000 grit. BOTH need to be wet sand paper and sand down your new fix until it is flush with the rest of the area and then use the 2000 grit to smooth the rest out. Buff it out with some compound and your done! It's basically the same as clearing headlights after you have the area even with the rest of the stuff. OEM HID's Rx330 Retro
