StiCy
I was reinstalling the center console after installing the OEM sub and stripped out one of the screws in the cubby. The other one is in tight, but the other one is loose and won't tighten all the way. Now the console lid rattles. I found I can replace the bracket that the two screws go into. Does anybody know how this bracket is mounted? I am hoping that its not tacked place. According to crude photos I've seen on parts sites its flat and has a dip between the two screw holes. Anybody have any ideas or other options? Look at #5. Windy Road
Having taken my console apart numerous times I want to say its bolted to the ebrake support. How its mounted is its underneath this other bracket that holds the two cables that go to the ebrake handle. I want to say that its just bolted on the drive shaft tunnel. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/StevenCole/Untitled-1.jpg 276hp/347tq On a DynoJet Dyno Video - Had a big lean spot as you can tell in the second pull
05lgt5spd
re-tap it. Mine did the same. Its just a steel bracket that comes up off the tunnel thats threaded. Just retap it. I used a 1/4-20 tap
