Quick question re: pre-facelift interior clock display

Just wanted to check with my American pre-facelift brethren - do your clock/info displays have the BRIGHT button on it?

i.e. like my one, or whether it just has the DISP button.

05-06 the clock/trip panel has a light picture/icon to turn on maximum brightness while the headlights are on; my owners manual says it remembers the setting but it doesn't, you have to click it each time.

In 07+, with the additon of SI-Drive, the panel is just a clock now. The max illumination button has moved to where the brightness control is. The passenger airbag indicator is up by the map lights.

Thanks, same as us with the facelift - they must make it simpler for you guys, a picture is easier than reading ;)

how much are they worth to buy from The dealership, can anyone check or does anyone know?

$131 that's basically my one right? hmmm cheaper...

I would say so, since the older ones have an airbag light in them also. The newer 08-09 in the USA don't, its only a clock. Less parts less money I guess.

Well what's interesting, I think.. if i'm right.. Is the 07-09s don't have the display button anymore(?). Yours isn't showing anything, but you have the button..

Not quite - firstly, mine's an 04 :p and it's not displaying anything at the time I took the photo because I didn't have the car on. When the engine is running, it shows elapsed time, instantaneous/average fuel consumption, temperature and distance to empty.

Tangcla does your current display temperature in Celcius? As far as i know US one display in fahrenheit which might not work properly for you. I had to replace mine a few months back, got the part from japanparts.com for about 130 euro. you can have my one if you want to try bring it back to life?

I have an 07 non-SI Drive clock coming to see if I can have outside temp displayed below the cubby. We'll see how it goes!
