westy66 Posted December 6, 2009 Share Posted December 6, 2009 i installed a Racing Brake BK this past summer after i was told that they fit under stock wheels which THEY DON'T. now it looks like i need a 1/8 - 3/16" wheel spacer or i have to put the stock brakes back on. i dont even know if its safe to run spacers. i am sooo pissed right now. anyone have any suggestions? thanks, Bob Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
papp101 Posted December 10, 2009 Share Posted December 10, 2009 Bob, I had some 235/50/17 blizzaks installed on my legacy. They were so wide with my lowered tein h-techs that they rubbed the bottom strut mount ever so slightly, so the guy installed some 1/8" spacers. As long as you apply them equally, they should be fine. Call some aftermarket rim/tire/rice shops and I'm sure you can get them. They shouldn't cause too much difference, but you may feel the change in stance during turns. I'm no expert so take mine with a grain of salt. Good luck, let us know how it goes.
