cryo
Had the boostcreepltd tune the legacy for stg2 91 and E85. Very happy with the experience and am happy with the tune so far but dreading going back to 91oct for the "cold" part of winter. E85 is amazing although the vf40 is definatly the limiting factor now. I'm happy for a while and will tinker with other things for a little bit. tuned at 5000ft 06 legacy gt with cobb ap,catless up,down, stock catback,XO2 fmic, typhoon intake, modded stock injectors and walbro. 278.6hp and 304tq on e85, 265hp and 274tq on 91oct. Harvey has a dyno vid of it, not sure how good it came out. http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h314/WhiteRushin02/dynosheet278online.jpg http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h314/WhiteRushin02/dynosheetoverlayonline.jpg [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Providing unmatched customer service and a Premium level of Dyno/E-tuning to the Community cryotuneperformance@yahoo.com facebook.com/cryotuneperformance. E-Tank
Amazing numbers. I can't believe a VF40 can make that kind of power. Dyno Dynamics is no ego booster either. I guess an FMIC and fuel upgrades with stock turbo can really make a significant difference. E85 or not, you're making the same power as a guy I know with an 18g'd LGT with similar supporting mods (he has aftermarket TMIC, 255lph, and injectors). You bastard. I made 233whp and 262wtq (Mustang) with my stage 2 tune...
Visualfx
Very nice results. Makes me excited to get my car completed. If you can run those numbers on a stock vf40 I cant wait to see what my 20g is gonna put down. Gotta love the torque on that E85.
joshw02
What size injectors do you have? I was at Harvey's today for some baseline runs in my stage 3 lgt. I was happy with the out come..
cryo
I believe they are rated at 816cc. you should pm me your results as our dynos should be very comparible in terms of same dyno, same tuner and same car. I would be interested to see a stg 3 sheet to see differences in power levels but more than that I would like to see how the curves change due to having a non "maxed out" turbo and see where you hit max power and tq. what turbo and supporting mods ie *fmic or tmic, E85? etc*?? Legend
Very nice! I loved stage 1e! Every dyno I've seen from that dyno looks to be be higher than Harvey's old DD dyno at Super. The other stage 1e plots from Super are in the low 250's, although your stage 1 is both catless and FMIC'd, so that helps. josh, share your sheet too... we're interested in whatcha got and whatcha running. derkahn
im waiting for the BNR stuff to be ready then I Am going to see Harvey again. and do the whole shebang. 20g,injectors,pump, e-85. Maybe I shouldnt't have told him to give me a fun "safe" tune as I only got 225ish whp....on vf40,up,down,tbe,cai I have a few e-85 buddies here in CO and they all said that e-85 in cold is not a big deal 2-3 more cranks to start than normal ..true? I guess that needs qualifying of how cold is cold...

I'll grab my sheet tomorrow. My car has fmic,20g,740cc,TBE,etc. It made 303.1whp this was with 91 octane and 15psi. I had just got the car from socal and wanted to see if it had a decent/safe tune. Everything looked really good. Plenty of room for more power down the road. I believe it was making full boost by 3550 rpm.

I agree that this seems to be a higher reading dyno but I'm not really caught up with numbers anyway. I'm just happy it falls in line with the power it should be making. I'm just happy I didnt blow a single intercooler pipe since the install, I was just waiting for one to blow on the dyno and have to stop and fix it. Josh- sounds like a nice setup, little more boost and e85 should make that thing a monster. cryo
Well I went back up to the dyno and we smoke tested the intake system and it was perfect now. tossed it on the dyno and came out with some decent results. Not bad for fixing a few leaks. Ignore the numbers on the the second sheet, it shows hp numbers at the top of the sheet from a run earlier in the testing but this graph is actually of the previous session in november and my session today. correction factor was at 1.24 with temps at about 55f. 5000ft Gained a little hp but a good amount of tq and better spool. 286hp/321tq on e85 Dave http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h314/WhiteRushin02/dynosheet11610e85-1.jpg?t=1263713028http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h314/WhiteRushin02/dynosheet11610.jpg?t=1263711060 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Providing unmatched customer service and a Premium level of Dyno/E-tuning to the Community cryotuneperformance@yahoo.com facebook.com/cryotuneperformance. cryo
Well went back yet again for a spring dyno day. The boost has not been touched since the last dyno, just fine tuning the afr and timing for drivability for the last two months. I'm probably going to play with the boost a little to see if any gains are there without pushing the little vf40 too much. The dyno was done on the same dyno but the correction factor was 1.15 today vs 1.24 in febuary. The dyno operator decided the numbers for forced induction cars were being inflated a little with the variable CF at altitude. The 286hp two sheets above this one is the green line on this sheet with CF adjusted. stg2E fmic intake 16.5psi 5k elevation 1.15 correction factor http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h314/WhiteRushin02/IMG00049-20100424-1403-1.jpg [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Providing unmatched customer service and a Premium level of Dyno/E-tuning to the Community cryotuneperformance@yahoo.com facebook.com/cryotuneperformance.
