Rear Seat: Part 2

Here are the brackets and hinge...

Luckily, the brackets and hinge bolt right up to existing holes and you can use the original bolts left over from removing the '05 junk. Use these for the hinge:

And use these for the brackets:

To install the seat backs to the brackets, the seat must be folded down flat (without the seat bottom).

Now, bolt up the back of the seats to the hinge. You'll need eight of these:

The bottom fits in just like the '05.

And there it is. OEM quality folding rear seats in an '05.

I wish I could do this for my brick red seats, I miss the folding rear way more than I thought I would :(

My car is a garage/track queen, so I doubt I will ever fold my seats down again! I'll do all the work for you and swap you interiors, if you like! I love my blue suede, but I still think red > blue!

So what were the part numbers to the clips? I too was unable to find the parts from Subaru.

Are you talking about this?

I'm still missing these... Can't find them anywhere! Going to check some junkyards when I get some time. The side pieces still fit just fine without them, though. I'm a perfectionist, so let me know if you come across some if I don't find any.

Yep that's the piece. One side came with the clip and the other didn't.

How did you splice the power seat adapter? My drivers side seats have 4 wires going into the seat, while my harness has a 2 wire connector.

 Mine came with only one as well! Then I broke it when I was working on cutting the holes.

The 2 of the 4 wires are a thicker gauge... Use those. We didn't use the other two and everything still works fine.
