LegacySleeper201
Ok don't flame on me but whats with the roof rack craze? its snowboard/ski season, so people need ways to get their gear to the mountains.
famaya26
Oh ok, sorry I asked because I always see cars here in Texas, mostly Hondas, with them on and we don't get much snow.
aac0036
Often times people just get them to pose, but some of us actually use them for skis/snowboards/bikes/etc.
joeblow
I only put mine on in the winter when I would make trips to the slopes. But now, on my wagon it looks a little more natural since I have factory rails, so it stays on year round. It's cool; I'm with the band
andnyleswillriot
Oh ok, sorry I asked because I always see cars here in Texas, mostly Hondas, with them on and we don't get much snow. my uncle from TX always had ski racks on his old audi, never could understand why... I live within a half hour of 5 ski areas in CO so I use them practically everyday haha
LegacySleeper201
AFAIK, there's no OEM rack for the sedan. But if it's listed to fit the 06-09 sedans, then it should fit the 05 since they're the same. just following up on what you said about there being no OEM racks for sedans, and you are correct. There are only OEM for the wagon, sadly. Looks like im going aftermarket
claymore_6r
People in the Northeast use them all the time cause 8 months of the year you could snowboard or ski.

0Subie9
Bringing up the dead here but I am starting to look into roof racks and I don't exactly have the cash to spend for a new set and I've been searching on craigslist and found some decent deals but not sure on fitment and some other things. Here's the two I found on craigslist and one of them is a set and one is just the load bars? Learning as I go here so please bare with me http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/pts/4121347929.html http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/bik/4089224868.html
andnyleswillriot
^the top link looks incomplete, like it's missing the rubber feet that are very needed. and the bottom looks like it would only fit something that already has vertical bars (not cross bars). aac0036
You're going to need a specific foot pack for your year Legacy.

bdemar
http://j.mp/1f7pMKv http://j.mp/1f7q1Fl Wondering if I need a smaller fairing. This one is a 44" but the end 2 rubber pads don't touch the roof. Little rattle it sounds like 75+

Yamba6
Can someone post me the dimension specs for the yakima rack with no roof rails. I got it used and would like to make sure I have it measured out right from front to back and side to side.
Yamba6
And it looks like the fairing is on upside down to me. Just the deflector part.
Dr_Tiwa
Dead thread hijack...I saw a whispbar set up with flush bars, but I'd like to see one with the longer bars...they probably were posted in here but the links are gone...also, are the whispbars the lowest roof rack? I really want a low profile type of look with them
