BagheeraLGT
Here are a few quick pics of my mother's 05 outback wagon, which I borrowed for a day to get some a splitter to my house so we could split some logs to stay warm through the winter. We cut some dead trees down earlier this fall to eventually cut and split. Subies (Outbacks especially) were made to get work done and get dirty, so i figured id document some of the work today. Hope you enjoy!
Gire
nice pics! Looks like a great place to live! Those dogs must be in heaven with all that land to run around on....
BagheeraLGT
thanks man. it is a cool place to be. I think id really like to live out west someday. A friend from high school had me out to his place in Big Sky, Montana once. Ive learned....the more land, the better. I dont mind NY though....the 4 seasons, although tame, are still enjoyable. Heres a few winter pics of my old 97 Tacoma with my first dog, Skipper. (no Leggy pics yet.....first winter with her comming up:rolleyes:). Ya can see out other OBW burried (its an 02 still running with 215K!! Got Subies?
Gire
Awesome pooches too, I'd love a lab one day. I grew up with Malamutes and Retrievers. However in my quest to make my wife happy while living together in an apartment 6 years ago, we got a mini schnauzer. Which is about 15lbs, but tough, fiesty, great with my kids, very protective, excellent guard dog, snarls at strangers. I miss my big dogs, but love the fact that my current pooch is probably the best small dog you can own.
Spoonwacker
I, too, love the dogs I've been wanting to get a dog since I moved into my new place a year ago, and my best bud just got a 6mo old German Shepherd mix puppy last weekend. It's only a matter of time for me now! Oh, the OB looks good doin' work:) sorry...this forum practically blows goat nuts so im not always on here.Team Pony Express POSTED FROM MY COMPUTER USING A WEB BROWSER
BagheeraLGT
thanks guys for the compliments. Hopefully, moving out is in my immediate future. If so, ill be able to take my Legacy, but i fear the dogs are staying put. I could take the older one but wouldnt feel right separating them.....so, at that point I think Id be in the marker for another dog. I love labs, but mabye a boxer would be a fun change. This is granted that whatever job im lucky enough to land allows me the time to dedicate to my k9 friend. Gire, im glad youre enjoying your schnauzer. At this point i rly hope to stick with the bigger breeds. I like to wrestle and roughouse with my dogs alot and dont think a smaller breed would be much of a challenge, lol.
