never summer
I went ahead and installed some LED front turn signals yesterday. Kind of a pain in the ass... Anyway, after I was done, started the car, went and parked it. No problem yet. A couple hours later I went to leave and here's my problem: I went to unlock my car with the keyless remote, the lights that usually flash just did a half flash and then cut out. Now, neither my front turn signals, or rear running lights/turn signals work. I started the car and she fired right up, but won't shift out of park. I'm thinking it's a safety feature so you don't drive without working lights. I went and tried putting the old bulbs back in and that did absolutely nothing. If anyone has anything I should try, please post up! Also, I replaced the battery with a new one with more cranking amps, (490 vs. 700) I doubt that would be an issue, right? Thanks in advance! RabidWombat
Check the fuses. Its possible the LED lights pulled too much current and blew a fuse.

clarkwgriswold
Yes, check the fuses! Check to see if you have any brake lights. If you don't, the car isn't seeing you hit the brake to put it in gear and will not go into gear. Also make sure the lights aren't on when installing the bulbs. never summer
My brake lights work. What fuse is used for the turn signals?
never summer
2 fuses were blown, the hazard fuse inside the engine bay and the tail clearance fuse under the dash. I'm going to try the LED lights again, but with load equalizers. Thanks for the help!
