Mr. Ed
My exhaust smells like waffles. So Everything is pretty much installed! Right now Keith has it running on a base map (manifold/wastegate pressure) until I can fix my exhaust. My custom setup didn't really want to go back on the car as it should have. SO... here's the list: My 08 WRX E85 Kamak Td05-18G 8cm (pita but again...thank goodness for Keith) X02 Legacy front mount (pita but with Keith's help it's on there) GFB bov P&L 73mm intake Keith Mod Injectors Grimmspeed TGV Deletes Grimmspeed EBCS APS Equal Lenth Headers Invidia Downpipe Exhaust to be determined (SPT or My custom Magnaflow) Rallitek Springs 18x8.5 5zigens- Bronze Coming soon PLX 52mm Gauge displaying AFR EGT and Boost Catch Can Clutch (type/brand tbd) Hawk pads awdtuning tune I was shooting for 350hp.... Keith estimates it will end up between 350-390. He will tune it as soon as I fix my exhaust. Despite my lack of sleep over the past two days I am extremely excited! RallyNavvie
Are you burning coolant then or just burning off the "new" smell?

Mr. Ed
Are you burning coolant then or just burning off the "new" smell? the coolant and heat wrap burning part smelled like burnt toast
RallyNavvie
Why would they allow E85 to create the same smell as burning coolant? The idea is to use those smells for diagnosis. How will you tell if you're burning coolant?
bnguyenbb6
Because they created E85 as an alternative fuel. The smells are just a by product after its burnt. Its not like they have Glade add smells in so you can diagnose what you are burning...
