Gmachine
Just how much is the tire rubbing on deflection? Are you sure 1/16th is thick enough? TiC (turn in concepts) makes 1mm thick 5X100 spacers using titanium, intended for heat rejection between rotor and hub face. Pretty spendy though. Maybe you can reach out to them to see if some can be made of less exotic metal.
FPerron
I ended up ordering 3mm spacers from Presige Wheel Accesories in Fountain Vally, CA. Only cost $8 a piece. From the looks of the tires, I probably could gave gotten away with the rubbing. The worst part was the distraction of smelling melting rubber while I was trying to drive fast. Thanks GTTuner for the reminder to use my old friend Google.
GTTuner
Glad I could help. At least you have peace of mind barreling around the track not wondering when your going to loose a tire! Be safe on the track, hope the spacers work for ya.
schwinn
This part is right. However, everything else there is misleading.Damnit... you're right. I was not taking the next step of "mounting" the wheel to the hub. So, yes, you're right... but the calculator does show that he needs a spacer, so not EVERYTHING else is misleading
