AGR-LGT
Am I going to have to remove the door panel to replace the window switch assembly on my driver door? It fucked off on me today, all crunchy when i depress it on the driver window
TravisS
If you just move it up/down a few times + do a little voodoo and a little shimmy on a tuesday after the last monday... does it fix itself? My driver side switch does that from time to time, stops working, nasty crunchy sound/feel when pressing it. But eventually it works again. TPLGT
This firggin' thing shold have been a factory recall.... I have the same problem...mine does start working again. Does anyone know if just the single switch can be replaced or is it the entire 4 switch mechanism? I think I read it was the whole thing. Rehab is for quitters. KartRacerBoy
What kind of spray can be used? Lithium grease. Or WD40. Either is fine, but if you don't have either, water will do.

spyguy
is it safe to say that if i replace the passenger side with the "auto up/down" switch from the drivers side, I can have the same feature on the passenger side?

KartRacerBoy
Or you could just pee onto the switch You damn furners will try anything. Of course you wouldn't pee directly on the switch. That's just stupid. Dribble it, of course.
Rollin Wes
I had this problem too. Don't know if anyone wants to try it, but if anyone decides to get new switches it seems they did a slit redesign on the switches. They feel much different in the 09 OBXT compaired to the 05 LGT. The switches even look a little more rounded.
